I called John Bowen for the first time to rent my condo on Cape Cod. I have never met him before but within 15 minutes he was driving over to my condo.We settled on a good and fair price and he had it rented asap. I wanted painters in there first and rug cleaners and his rental was perfect. Well, these renters were leaving after a time, and John and I talked and I decided to sell. At the open house, it was sold immediately for a cash price and I got full asking price.To sum John up, he is honest and a go getter plus a gentleman. This July i drove around Falmouth with Google Maps looking for a Realtor and found 3 closed during business hours. Then I went to John Bowen's , he was out but had his business cards there for the taking. When i called him he said " I'm 10 minutes from your house so I'll drop by NOW ! Anything I could say about John Bowen is not enough. I was very fortunate last year when I met John at a property in Mashpee. This year my husband and I asked John to be our agent to purchase our home in Cape Cod. We felt comfortable and we trusted John's judgment from identifying properties meeting our expectations to picking the best towns in Cape Cod. John made himself ALWAYS available to meet with us and did an amazing job setting up appointments to do private tours. Coming from the Boston area this was very valuable to us since we were not around the corner to attend to many open houses. He helped us through the whole process. His input regarding how to strategize and put together a winning offer during very competitive times was invaluable. He managed to get records from the Town Hall before signing the P&S. He was our eyes and ears at the time of the final walk through showing us the house on life video. As this was not enough, he even rushed to our new home to receive a refrigerator we bought which was delivered before we arrived. You may think I am exaggerating but this is a short list of how much John will do for you to have the best experience. This review is a long time coming. I'm a very busy father, homeowner, husband and performing artist out here in Los Angeles. My family home on Cape Cod had been occupied by renters for some odd ten years (also by Bowen RE but that's a whole other rave review), and the time had come to let the house go on the market. Mind you, I am three-thousand miles, and three time zones away. No matter where you lived, everyone was engulfed in a world-wide pandemic. People were not touching each other or their groceries, no one was leaving their houses, nor was anyone really digging deep to make large financial or life decisions, which buying a house really is. Once John assured me, and then reassured me over and over again with his deft knowledge of the market in Massachusetts, his evidence and years of experience, we were able to put together a team that put the house up for sale. It was sold in little over a month with very little stress and even less heartache. John Bowen RE is the absolute best in the area, and there is no one else I would trust with my real estate needs, questions, or advice. You will get straight talk and you will get quality service. He was always following up with me, making sure paperwork was right, and that all the legalities were above board with dotted "eyes" and crossed "tees". Like a master athlete or award winning artist, his navigation and absolute comprehension of his goals always match his clients to bring about a win win situation. I hope Bowen RE is around for a long long time so I can once again live on Cape Cod once my life out here in Hollywood is finished.

Buying a house sight unseen during a pandemic is a terrifying prospect, so when my wife and I received four year orders to the Cape, a quick google search for “Best realtor on Cape Cod” lead me to Johns office! I called John and within a day he had several listings to look at. I think over one weekend he went to four separate open houses and viewed several other homes for me all using google duos facetime style app. I was using a VA loan which was not competitive with so many cash offers coming in but Johns extremely persistent and got me into a nice house that was twice as big as I was looking for right in our budget. It hit the market one day and the next it was ours! I cannot tell you how pleased I am we went with John. He always picked up the phone to answer all of the first-time homebuyer questions and was a fantastic guide to have throughout the home buying process. I honestly don’t know if we would have ended up being able to find a house without his expertise. We hit just about every roadblock you can hit during the process due to various contract issues on houses that we looked at and he was able to handle them all easily and wasn’t afraid to tell me if he just thought a house wouldn’t work. He was definitely our eyes and ears on the ground the whole time; trusting someone you’ve never actually met with such a large purchase is a daunting prospect, but you won’t go wrong. I’d recommend to stop looking elsewhere and just give him a call

Why go with anyone else? John Bowen, owner of Bowen Real Estate, is such a good guy who truly likes helping people out. I needed a Fair Market Value appraisal of my mother’s house to give to a lawyer and, after explaining what I needed and why, John offered to stop by the house and do it without charging me. He didn’t know me. I just picked his company “out of the phone book,” so to speak. If he would do that for a stranger, imagine the lengths he would go to to sell your home or help you find your dream home.

When looking to sell my Mom's house in Bourne we interviewed a number of agents. After meeting John Bowen we knew he was the right person for the job. He understood that I did not live close by and he had all the right connections to get the job done.
